June 18 - June 27
The agenda of a Road Rules Trip can change at any given moment due to weather, or a number of other factors.
This agenda is the guide we will be using on our 10 day trip across the country.

June 29th from 7pm-9pm we will be having a "Showing" of Road Rules Trip #1.
It will be held in the Barn Door Room at Lake Forest. Food will be provided.
We will show pictures, videos, tell stories, and talk about all that was seen and learned on this trip!
This meeting is open to the public. All family and friends are invited to come!

JUNE 18 - Friday
Drive to Sevierville, TN and get a 2-Hour personal indoor surfing lesson at The Wilderness At The Smokies
After the park is closed, they are opening it up specially for our group. We'll be surfing from 10:30pm - 12:30am
Indoor surfing, also known as flowriding, is a unique experience.
19,000 gallons of water each minute flow under you to create a five-foot ocean-like wave.
Combining skills of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding all in a wet and wild environment.
After we "flowride" for 2 hours into the early morning hours, we will then drive to Pigeon Forge, TN.
We will be spending the night at a KOA campground. www.pigeonforgekoa.com

JUNE 19 - Saturday
Drive to Waynesville, NC and get a 4 hour experience from VERTICAL WIND
Waynesville, NC is home to the world's finest Vertical Wind Tunnel. Built by Vertical Wind Tunnel Corporation.
In short, there is a giant airdryer underground that blows air out a 15 foot diameter hole at around 150mph!
We'll be learning how to fly!
After flying for 4 hours, we'll be driving to Yemassee, SC and spending the night at Point South KOA

JUNE 20 - Sunday
We will attend a local church in Yemassee, South Carolina, and then drive to Cocoa Beach, FL
Today is a casual, driving day. We'll be staying at the Kennedy Space Center KOA
This is our Sabbath day.

JUNE 21 - Monday
We will meet my friend Girard Middleton at 8am.
He owns and operates SOBE SURF. He will be taking us all on a 3 hour nature tour while we do stand up paddle surfing.
The area holds an abundance of manatees, dolphins, fish, and water fowl.

After our tour is over, we will then start our trek toward the midwest.
We'll spend the night in Calhoun KOA in Calhoun, GA

JUNE 22 - Tuesday
Today is a long drive day. Our destination is Kansas City, KS
We'll be spending the night at my cousin's Joel and Ellen DeBoer house.
I'm hoping they will have a nice dinner prepared for us.

JUNE 23 - Wednesday
Today we will learn how to fly.... again. This time however, we will actually be controlling our own airplane!
We'll be flying out of downtown Kansas City Airport (MKS) under the supervision of my friend Tom Renfroe - 913-240-1694
This is a full 1 hour flight lesson. We will begin with ground school, then we will learn how to inspect the plane for its pre-flight.
Finally, under the close supervision of the instructor, we will take off and fly for about an hour!
I hope we pay attention in class, we have to land this plane as well!
We will then drive to Des Moines, IA and spend the night at my friends John and Stacy Ferguson's house.
Cooking out on the grill for some good Iowa beef for dinner.

JUNE 24 - Thursday
Wake up and start our trek east. We will stop for a cool lunch in Chicago
then continue our drive east and spend the night at KOA Toledo, OH

JUNE 25 - Friday
Going to Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio. The largest and best amusement park in the USA.
Home of 17 Roller Coasters! The most of any park in the entire WORLD!
TOP THRILL DRAGSTER - 120mph over 420 feet straight up in the air!
The fastest and tallest Gigacoaster in the USA!

We will then spend the night at the KOA Sandusky/Bayshores

JUNE 26 - Saturday
Drive to McHenry, MD and participate in some great Mountain sports at WISP RESORT
Mountain Coaster - Mountain Disc Golf - Mountain Boarding - Mountain Buggy - and more!
There are only 4 Mountain Coasters in the USA and one in the Mid-Atlantic Area. 3500 foot coaster
down the mountain... how fast will we go? We control the brakes, so as fast as you can handle!
One of the 100 Must Play Disc Golf Courses in the Mid-Atlantic" according to Golfstyles Magazine
.. 
We'll spend our last night out on the road in the Wisp Resort Hotel at the base of the mountain. In nice comfy beds!

JUNE 27 - Sunday
We'll be going to a local church, and driving back to Huntersville.
Our estimated time of arrival back at Lake Forest parking lot will be around 8pm.
We will post our arrival time on our Facebook as we have a better idea.
Warning - we may be a bit dirty and tired!
